Lara is still annoying and her face looks uncannily botoxed. I mean, the story is trash, but then again I've always ignored the story in Tomb Raider games (except for AOD<3).
After turning off the hints, white ledges and all that crap, it's a really nice tombraiding experience! Tombs and crypts everywhere! I love the atmosphere, the lush jungle environments, exploration, the LIGHTING!!, all the fantastic tombs (both mandatory and barf optional), the lack of combat. So Id say get that first, then when you beat it, trade it in and get. To my surprise I really, really, really liked the game and I've loved it even more with replays. Shadow of Mordor is a much more recent game, so it probably has a higher trade-in value. So when Shadow came out I really had subpar expectations. When TReboot came out in 2013 I hated it (still do, though not as passionatly when replaying it recently), Rise I hated even more (and still do). These opinions are all of course perfectly swell, valid, holds all my respect and all that, but I'm genuinely just curious as to why Shadow seems so disliked?
